Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles
Living in Los Angeles for 14 years, I have never visited the famous Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in Hollywood off Gower Street. It's a landmark I'm told. So when Thuy, Hailey & Jason invited me to dinner yesterday, how could I refuse?
I had the #1 with a side order of grits. I had the chicken which was delicious. The waffle was a bit much to finish so left one waffle uneaten. The grits are a home favorite for me.
Parking is a bit complicated because it is Hollywood but worth the food, flavor and friendship.

MooDaePo II---A Weekend Indulgence
Pigged out over the weekend.
All You Can Eat Korean BBQ at the #1 rated restaurant Moo Dae Po II in Koreatown and then a sushi restaurant in Westwood. That was Saturday.
Sunday after a lil bit of Joel Osteen on the tv, I made a huge breakfast of oatmeal, bacon, eggs, salads and for lunch, I made huge bagel sandwiches with ham, greens & avocados. Who doesn't love avocados. They are the perfect food. I also made my favorite salad with arugala and greens and avocados and lime dressing/salt/pepper.
Current Weight: 114 lbs.

Ribeye, Red Wine & Salad.
Last night's meal was ribeye cooked on the grill by Hank paired with a very smooth, rich Cabarnet Sauvignon.
Salad:
Greens with my favorite, arugula...chopped with avocados with lime, pepper & salt dressing.
The sweet potatoes didn't come out so well. I'll look for other recipes.
Until next time America!
